Situated on the first floor, Rooms 2 and 3 enjoy arguably the most breathtaking views in the guest house, with sensational panoramic sea views stretching from Whitby Harbour entrance, across the North Sea and all the way to Sandsend Bay.
Whether you’re watching the sun rise over the water, admiring the changing colours of the sea, or enjoying the drama of a winter storm rolling in, these rooms offer a front-row seat to one of Whitby’s most spectacular natural displays.
At the heart of both rooms is an impressive floor-to-ceiling bay window, flooding the rooms with natural light and framing the incredible coastal scenery. Comfortable seating within the bay window creates the perfect place to relax with a morning coffee, a glass of wine, or simply sit and watch the world drift by.
Both Superior Rooms feature luxurious king-size four-poster beds, creating a romantic and indulgent atmosphere that’s perfect for special occasions, celebrations, anniversaries, or simply treating yourself to a memorable seaside escape.
Beautifully furnished with fitted furniture, generous storage, elegant dressing tables, dimmer-controlled lighting and individually controlled heating, every detail has been carefully considered to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. Both rooms also feature a convenient mini fridge, ideal for keeping drinks chilled and refreshments close to hand.
Room 2 – Contemporary Coastal Elegance
Room 2 offers a fresh and contemporary feel, decorated in soft magnolia tones with stylish fuchsia accents adding warmth and character. The light and airy décor perfectly complements the stunning sea views, creating a bright and welcoming retreat.
The en-suite bathroom features a bath with shower over, wash basin and WC.

Room 3 exudes classic elegance with its rich burgundy and gold colour palette, creating a luxurious and stately atmosphere. Combined with the magnificent sea views and four-poster bed, this room offers a truly special place to unwind and escape from everyday life.

Upon arrival, you’ll find a well-stocked hospitality tray waiting in your room, complete with a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and biscuits, replenished daily throughout your stay. We also provide both sugar and sweetener – just in case you’re sweet enough already!
For those wishing to make the most of the views, wine glasses are provided alongside water glasses and mugs, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing drink whilst gazing out to sea.
Both rooms include complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen LCD televisions, hairdryers and ironing boards, with an iron available upon request. Your en-suite bathroom is stocked with complimentary shampoo/conditioner and shower gel, along with large, fresh fluffy white towels.
