We have 15 en suite bedrooms at the Riviera. Each unique in its design and furnishing and most enjoy spectacular sea views.
Whether you are coming as a solo traveller, couple, a family with children or friends sharing, we have a bedroom to match your requirements. Choose from King-size, Double, Family/twin (double bed and single bed) and Single rooms.
At the Riviera we’re on hand to make sure you want for nothing and each morning we’ll prepare a breakfast of champions to keep you going during a day’s adventure.
Our breakfasts are home-cooked with love and served in our sea-facing dining rooms with their floor-to-ceiling bay windows.
Choose from a wide selection of cooked breakfast options. One of the biggest compliments for us is an empty plate and a contented smile after breakfast!

Three en-suite King-Size rooms, which each has seating that offers a fabulous spot to enjoy the sea views and enjoy the peace of time passing by.
Sharing the attic location, our two Deluxe Doubles also benefit from our spectacular sea views. Due to their top floor location (4th floor) and the cute bay windows, the views are incredible.
This double room, on the third floor, has been recently renovated in neutral tones. A cosy room, compactly furnished and also benefits from our incredible sea views.
These two double rooms offer comfortable accommodation as your base to explore Whitby.
Our family rooms contain a double/king and single bed therefore comfortably sleep 3 people. Alternatively, they can be used as a twin room to sleep 2.
Our three single rooms each have the sensational views of the sea which can be admired whilst sitting on the seating in the window area.

Check-in time is 2pm to allow all rooms to be serviced to the high standard we pride ourselves upon.
If you do require an earlier check-in, please call us and we will try and work to your request. There may be additional charges for this.
Check-out time is 10am to give enough time for the rooms to be serviced to a high standard ready for Check-in.
If you do require a later check-out, please let us know and we will try and work to your request.
This will depend on subsequent bookings. There may also be additional charges.
Booking extras can be added to your booking at any point from booking through to check-in.
We can provide Flowers (price depends on preference and size), Helium Balloons at £6 and Chocolates at £5.
We can also provide other booking extras of your choice e.g. celebration banners, cards.
We will always do our utmost to source the item you require. The cost of these items will be confirmed with you prior to your arrival.
Each room is supplied with an ironing board which can be found in the cupboard.
Irons are available on request from reception.
We ask that you iron away from the smoke detectors in the bedroom due to the risk of false alarms.
We do not provide lunch or evening meals however we are very close to all local amenities.

We are also more than happy to offer any other information you may require.
We are about a 10 minute walk from the train station however 50% of it is uphill therefore we recommend getting a taxi (about 3 minute drive) especially if you have luggage with you. Our taxi recommendation would be White Rose Taxi’s on 01947 602602.
