Family

Who Are We?

Just in case you’ve not heard of us before, we are based in Whitby on the Yorkshire Coast.

We are a family-run, proudly independent guest house offering our guests a friendly, welcoming and comfortable stay.

With two children, a dog and a busy schedule, we like to think we offer our guests a ‘home from home’ experience.

And our freshly cooked breakfasts will set you up for the day so you can explore our stunning part of North Yorkshire and the North York Moors National Park.

Where Are We?

We are located in Crescent Terrace, close to Whitby Pavilion.

We are just around the corner from Royal Crescent (where Bram Stoker, author of Dracula, stayed).

Our guesthouse is a short drive from Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes and Ravenscar.

We are within walking distance of Whitby Railway Station and Bus Station too.

What We Do

Our guesthouse includes 15 spacious en-suite bedrooms.

Each room is renowned for its originality.

Each is uniquely designed to suit individual tastes.

And what’s more, they are beautifully furnished with lots of modern comforts so you enjoy a restful and cosy stay.

As mentioned, we also offer our guests a freshly cooked breakfast each day, too.

When Are You Open?

We are open most of the year, and we are very lucky in that Whitby attracts visitors all year round!

So booking is always encouraged so you can make the most of your visit to our wonderful seaside resort.

How We Keep Smiling!

We would like to think (and hopefully our recent awards are testament to this) that would LOVE what we do!

Our USP is that everyone in our family is involved in some way, shape or form.

We Understand that Staying with is the most important Part of your Whitby experience.

And of course, it goes without saying that we will continue learning.

Running a business is a learning curve that continues each and every day.

What’s In Store in 2024

So now we’ve been lucky enough to get these three fabulous awards, we will NOT be resting on our laurels.

Far from it!

Guests old and new are warmly greeted when they join us in the Spring, Summer and Autumn this year.

We also work hard at our fabulous blogs, giving you lots of inspiration for things to do this year.

One event we look forward to is the Dark Skies Festival each year: find out more here.

Visit our What’s On webpage, which lists some of the events taking place in Whitby and nearby.

If you still want to find out more about us, then our TripAdvisor listing is here.

We also have an in depth Places to Eat webpage, find out more here.
