Whatever the weather or season there is always something fun happening in Whitby. The town hosts a variety of festivals, concerts and other events throughout the year to cater for foodies, music fans, salty sea lovers, and much more.

During the spring and summer months, Whitby comes alive with festivals, such as Fish and Ships in May, the Great Seaside Vintage Fair in July and the Whitby Regatta in August.

And the autumn and winter months don’t disappoint either. The renowned Whitby Goth Weekenders are held in April, October and November, and we highly recommend the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival held in October and February.
